Recreation of the F4U Corsair nose art from WW2 on an A-1 Skyraider engine cowling from my "boneyard" of blank panels with cowl flaps attached. Utilizing original patina base coat paint from the original aircraft, lettering and nose art was 'aged' to match the patina. Looks like it was pulled from the aircraft in 1945! Love how it came out!
